JSH-20160815-1I really couldn’t get a good pic of what was happening today because things were so crazy, but we cranked!

James Storehouse – Louisiana was jammed packed with volunteers today from First Baptist of Covington, Church of the King, and St. Timothy’s along with our own staff packing boxes full of nice clothing, bedding, toiletries, baby essentials, and toys to be delivered to the children, teens, and single moms affected by the floods. You know it’s bad when folks can’t even get to you… you must find a way to get to them at the emergency shelters.

Thank you to those making the trip to ensure these folks get what they need! It takes a village and mobilized local communities are proving to be the best response to these disasters. Thank you to everyone who has given to JS. You have supplied so many with so much today!
